How ordering works

We charge our customers on FRIDAYS for all goods in their shopping carts at that time. All you need to do is SAVE your order in the system. Please note that there is no "Buy now" or "Submit" option on our site!


Farm to Home Milk can deliver weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to your door. To shop our products and build your delivery order, delivered one time or with repeating delivery, just go to the "Our Products" section and click on Shop.


To add something to your order, just click the orange "Add to Order" button and select your delivery date, or choose a recurring delivery.


Click "Save and continue shopping" if you want to look at more things, or "Save and review order" to finish and look at what you have.  


Your goods will arrive the following week. Your credit card will be charged each week after the order cutoff time (Thursday at 8 pm), and we’ll email you the receipt.

In other words, adjust your selections as needed during the week, and whatever you have in your online cart at Thursday at 8 pm is what we will bill you for and deliver to your door.

What should I order?

Have a look at our bargain-bin category, which changes each week according to the deals we get. We also suggest our Starter Packs, an easy way to get what you want as a complete package that feeds the whole family.

Feel free to shop product by product and create your own special “weekly standard"  order by Friday at noon the week prior to delivery. It will be delivered to you every week on the same day.

Nice thing is, if you like your service, just relax and let it come to you each week. We take care of the rest!

Feeding the family

To make things easy for you and your family, we created several “Starter Packs” that can feed a family of four for one week.

Go to the Our Products tab, then look for the Product Categories sidebar on the left, and go to "Starter Packs" to get started.

With just one click you can create your weekly recurring order. Consider a recurring Box: Choose from The Basic (milk, bread, and eggs), The Breakfast Staples, The Complete Weekly Staples and our Meat Package.

Or just dive right in and build your own custom order! We offer dairy, bread, eggs, meat, cheese, poultry, fish, coffee, cookies and much, much more!


Building a weekly order

 Things to consider:

1. How many half gallons of milk do you need delivered each week?

2. What kinds of milk? Low-fat, skim, whole?

3. Do you need buttermilk, chocolate milk, and cream as well?

4. How many dozen eggs do you need each week?

5. What breakfast meats do you need?

6. How much pork, beef, poultry and salmon do you need each week? Which cuts and selections?


Receiving your delivery

Your day of delivery depends on your zip code.

Put a cooler and some ice or ice packs outside your door by 9 a.m. on your delivery day. The least expensive method is to leave your own cooler filled with ice or ice packs.

If you prefer affordable convenience, we can provide you with a Dairy Box Cooler and ice at cost to us: $1.50 per delivery of ice and a one-time fee of $27.99 for the dairy box.

If you forget to put out your dairy box and ice, we will loan you one of our boxes for the week. Return it the following week at no charge, or let us know you want to keep it, and we bill your account.

Make sure the cooler you choose can accomodate glass bottles that are 11 inches high!

Changing or stopping a delivery order


You can stop your weekly order so long as it is canceled by Friday at noon on the week prior to your delivery day. You can also manually change your weekly order online as needed, so long as it done by the Friday prior to your delivery day.


To do this, go to My Shopping Cart in the Our Products section. You will see all of your ordered products, the price, and the quantities you selected.


From My Shopping Cart, you can remove products, add more products, change quantities, and more.

Paying for delivery

Each week you will be charged the cost of your online order, a $2-per-bottle refundable deposit for milk, a $2.99 delivery charge, a $1.50 ice charge (on request), and a mandatory two-percent food sales tax.


We charge your credit card after cutoff time for ordering each week (Friday at 12 noon).

If you live out of our delivery area, you can take delivery at your workplace. Just submit your workplace zip code and address in your customer profile.


If you live out of our delivery area and don’t have a delivery-area workplace, let us know. You can become a Farm to Home Ambassador, and recruit 10 customers in your area for a central drop-off point!
